F*ck You I Won’t Do What You Tell Me!

Uranus, our sense of whimsy, brilliance and rebellion is retrograding in Taurus, the sign of resources and security and the question you and I are being asked is to address the illusion of safety and security. What makes you feel safe? Is it a million dollars in the bank? Is it a thousand? Is it not speaking out against things that seriously piss you off for the sake of keeping the peace? Peace and security loving Taurus (I am one, BTW) love keeping the peace and our fonts of patience and rationalization to avoid conflict are almost incomprehensibly deep. There are undiscovered angler fish species down there in the depths of our patience.

But Uranus is asking for rebellion. He’s asking you to get mad. He’s here dressed as Melissa McCarthy trying to shake you out of your self-loathing and pity party. Fight for your shitty life, Annie! Don’t worry it’s not just you, it’s all of us. This retrograde period is going to see more political and governmental unrest as the Annie’s and Taurus’s of this life (it’s me, hi!) realize that avoiding conflict isn’t solving real problems in your life or your community. We need to fight for our shitty lives and get mad and rebel! Take uncomfortable stands. Take up a lot of really uncomfortable space. Get loud. Fight for what you need to get your life and your community on track. Or it’ll be you next.
