Saturn in Pisces - Part I
What to Expect
Saturn is back in Pisces, where he has been primarily transiting since 2023. Why the return? Well he had advanced to Aries on May 24th but when he went retrograde he returned to Pisces where he will stay until February when he posts up in Aries until April 2028.
When a planet returns to a brief retrograde in a sign before a big transit into a new one, such as this, we typically see the wrapping up of the lessons of that planet in that sign. What has Saturn in Pisces meant the past two and a half years? The karmic themes have largely been about the discipline of our inner world, the responsibility of healing work and emotional maturity – or the complete lack thereof if you were not willing to learn these lessons (don’t’ worry, they’ll always come back around again until you do the work).
With Saturn retuning to Pisces for the next few months he’s asking you to take an honest-to-god look in the mirror and ask yourself if you’re hiding behind excuses or are you doing the work to be a better human (Pisces is at its best dreams, vision and spirituality and its worst escapism, denial and addiction). How are you practicing emotional intelligence and insisting on that boundary being met in your partners? How are you choosing to soothe yourself into inaction and victimhood where you could be adopting that Aries courage (where Saturn is about to go next) to be a warrior in your own life.
