I Got Something to Say You Know - But Nothing Comes

Many don’t like it when I suggest astrology or transits can mean challenges but I have spent a huge amount of time in my adult life and a lot of money on therapy trying to overcome toxic positivity and being a “good girl” so here I go anyway. This New Moon is not one of primrose paths and lavender baths. That doesn’t make us bad. Some of us love brooding rainy weather and thrive in the velvety darkness that winter provides. Some of us love sunshine and beaches. Most of us love a spectrum of all of life’s beautiful, wonderful, messy events and that’s what I’m here for – if you’re up for experiencing the broad spectrum of life’s beautiful possibilities than this is a great New Moon for doing some deeper work.

'Cause Sometimes, I said Sometimes, I Hear my Voice

The challenge here is not so much Leo but the opposition that the moon is forming with Pluto in Aquarius during this lunation. That opposition may manifest in a myriad of ways for your but expect things like power dynamics, murky motivations and other control dynamics that Pluto can represent in the hidden, shadows of his lower harmonics. It can also mean that you use your voice to create a new power dynamic but if so be aware and prepared that there could be real fall out. That isn’t bad by the way, it’s just a recognition of the laws of cause and effect. Action and reaction. Often the biggest and best changes come when we get sick and tired of being sick and tired and we change. Messy but beautiful stuff. As Peter Gabriel says, digging in the dirt, to find the places we’re not hurt. 

And it’s Been, Here. Silent All These Years

Mercury in retrograde is also at play so just beware that you think, practice the pause and practice your words before you do speak during this lunation. It’s a great time to try to re-do or re-attempt a previously failed endeavor but with more practice and hopefully some learned wisdom this time around. It’s just that this isn’t the typical New Moon that’s great for starting something brand new. God speed.
