Here’s what I know

The location of Chiron in your birth chart is the key to unlocking, and healing, the root cause of your pain points in this life.

We all have core wounds. The painful, but perhaps easiest part is when there is an event or experience we can point to that is the root cause on the problem. But what about when there isn’t? Or sometimes we do the work through therapy and self-help modalities but we still feel, well, kind of stuck.

That describes me to a tee in my mid-thirties.

I had had so many beautiful unlocks throughout my Saturn return and early thirties that created a dream career and a wonderful partner in my life, but I could feel myself spiraling into self-sabotage and wondered what gives?

At the same time, I happened to come across an evolutionary astrologer and out of coincidence (now I know Divine timing) I decided – what the heck – and booked a birth chart reading for fun.

At first it was fun. And then that beautiful soul read me for filth. She kept going through my birth chart and I equally thought, “how can she know this?” And also, “Wow, I feel seen, really seen, for the first time in a very long time.” Maybe ever.

And that key to feeling seen was my Chiron.

Chiron is known in astrology as the wounded healer.

It’s an asteroid/planetoid/comet (yes, all three) whose placement in your chart indicated an area of a core wound. That wound may reflect from childhood, and in evolutionary astrology we say it likely comes from past life carryover. If past lives don’t sit well with you, you can also take the perspective that it’s a challenge you’ve been born to face, overcome and then to thrive.
