Venus Square Pluto

Anytime a planet square another one we experience some challenging aspect of their personalities or traits. This can mean growth, but it also can just mean challenge. Nature isn’t malevolent or benevolent, it just is – so I don’t agree that we have to over happy-happy-glad-glad challenging aspects. Hard is hard sometimes. Venus square Pluto will mean breakups. We’ll see this in our communities, our friend circles and maybe our own lives. People of power will display discord and break-up behavior.

Saturn Conjunct Neptune

Until August 23

Saturn (discipline and karma) is posted up very cozy with Neptune (dreams, addiction and escapism). This conjunction is cusping Pisces to Aries and just like the highs and lows of the aspects of these two planets themselves, the signs, too have highs and lows. It could go well which would mean discipline to achieving and building dreams. It could also go poorly with fanaticism and escapism at a high. There’s a whole spectrum of experience in between those two dreams but the caution is this: check yourself. A sign of intelligence is being willing to change your mind when presented with new information. Don’t dig deeper into beliefs if they aren’t serving you. Don’t slip into escapism. You’ll need to watch yourself.

Jupiter Square Saturn

The planet of luck and opportunities (Jupiter) is facing off with the planet of discipline, karma and duty (Saturn). It’s a good transit opportunity to face yourself in new directions, particularly with the Full Moon in Sag tomorrow blessing us with the ability and willingness to let go. It’s also the chance for stagnation, frustration and feeling like you’re stuck or unappreciated. You may experience some of both flavors.

Jupiter in Cancer

Having the planet of luck and opportunity in Cancer is a really great thing for us all. What part of life is going to see these opportunities, breakthroughs and good luck over the next 13 months? Look to your Cancer placements (houses and signs). Those planets and house(s) will be the areas of radical improvement the next year. They’re being blessed! What if you have nothing in Cancer (p.s. I don’t! No planets, and it’s an empty 6th & 7th house for me!)? Not to worry. Your blessings will be more generalized across opening new opportunities particularly related to home (family relationships, relocation or where you live, and physical space like real estate, physical home you live in). Just beware of overcommitment in all the excitement. Jupiter is famous for sometimes overpromising.
